The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago hired two active domestic mid-cap equity managers. Systematic Financial Management is handling a $51 million value portfolio and Wellington Management is managing a $40 million growth portfolio, Pensions & Investments reports.
The board also hired two minority-owned investment firms, Atlanta Life Investment Advisors and Opus Capital Management, to manage active U.S. equity portfolios. The system is rebalancing its portfolio to fund the appointments, which were selected with consultant Gray & Co.
